Sanmina is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer I to support optical networks, electronics repair processes, and telecommunications projects. The role requires strong measurement skills with Multimeter, Oscilloscope, and Spectrum Analyzer, plus Excel/Sheets proficiency and English competency.

You will lead projects, coordinate with teams, and interact with customers to resolve technical issues, while driving continuous improvement through Kaizen and 6Sigma initiatives.

Formación

• Electronic engineering or related field required.
• English 85% and ability to read technical documentation.
• Experience with optical networks, electronic repair processes and telecommunications projects.
• English 70% minimum to read docs and participate in conferences.
• Balance and capacity analysis; knowledge in optical fibers; solderability; use of measuring equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, proactive, and able to work under pressure; strong teamwork and analysis.
• Project leader for NPI and capacity analysis; supervise technicians; participate in Kaizen and 6Sigma projects.
• Coordinate with customers on technical issues; perform critical debugging of aging units.
• Generate FAR for case documentation; support diagnostic technicians.
• Daily internal communication with work groups and CIT meetings.

Education

Electronic Engineering, Mecatronics or related field

English 85%

Electronics processes, Radio Frequency, Optical Networks and quality knowledge.

Experience in Electronic repair processes, telecommunications projects.

Basic understanding of English to read and understand the technical documentation provided and participate in conferences. (English 70% as minimum). Balance and capacity analysis, Knowledge in optical fibers, solderability process, medium or high level of excel or google sheet, necessary knowledge in handling of measuring equipment, (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, LCR, Spectrum Analyzer), fault definition method.

• Leader, proactive, work under pressure, team work, high level of analysis, schedule availability.
• Project leader, participate on NPI, capacity analysis, supervisor of technicians, participate on CIT's meeting, participate on improvement projects (Kaizen, 6sigma), contact to the customer for technical issues, critical debug of high aging units, debug of highly complex products or critics for their low yield, daily internal communication to the work groups, generation of FAR for case documentation, support for diagnostic technicians.
