Job summary

Allie - AI for Manufacturing is seeking an Automation Technical Engineer to join our team in Monterrey. The role centers on conceptualizing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for production lines, integrating PLCs and control systems to improve operations.

You will work with Rockwell and Siemens PLCs, hardware installations, and network configurations, traveling to client sites as needed to deploy and support projects.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing industry experience.
• Proficiency with Rockwell and Siemens PLCs.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installations and configure network installations for automation systems.
• Implement production line optimization strategies to improve OEE.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for technical resolutions and enhancements.
• Configure and manage automation systems per best practices and industry standards.
• Document all implemented solutions and changes for future reference.
