Sanmina, a global EMS leader, seeks a Failure Analysis Engineer 1 in Mexico to evaluate failed electronic assemblies and drive root-cause investigations. You will collaborate with engineering, production, and customers to identify issues and implement corrective actions.

The role requires electronics knowledge, RF and optical network concepts, and experience with repair processes. Strong documentation and teamwork are essential for success in this position.

Formación

• Education in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• English proficiency at least 85%.
• Knowledge of electronics processes, RF, optical networks and quality.
• Experience in electronic repair processes and telecommunications projects.
• Ability to read English technical documentation and participate in conferences.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and work under pressure with strong analytical skills.
• Participate in NPI, capacity analysis, and CIT meetings.
• Supervise technicians; generate FAR documentation; support diagnostics.

Failure Analysis Engineer 1

Education

Electronic Engineering, Mecatronics or related field

English 85%

Electronics processes, Radio Frequency, Optical Networks and quality knowledge.

Experience in Electronic repair processes, telecommunications projects.

Basic understanding of English to read and understand the technical documentation provided and participate in conferences. (English 70% as minimum). Balance and capacity analysis, Knowledge in optical fibers, solderability process, medium or high level of excel or google sheet, necessary knowledge in handling of measuring equipment, (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, LCR, Spectrum Analyzer), fault definition method.

• Leader, proactive, work under pressure, team work, high level of analysis, schedule availability.
• Project leader, participate on NPI, capacity analysis, supervisor of technicians, participate on CIT´s meeting, participate on improvement projects (Kaizen, 6sigma), contact to the customer for technical issues, critical debug of high aging units, debug of highly complex products or critics for their low yield, daily internal communication to the work groups, generation of FAR for case documentation, support for diagnostic technicians.
