Sanmina Corporation in Reynosa, Mexico, is seeking a Quality Engineer to establish and manage quality reliability processes for products, subassemblies, rework, and documents. You will direct continuous improvement and oversee metrics such as RFTY, DOA PPMs, and CARs, with authority to halt production for critical quality issues.

You will lead containment actions, attend ANDON escalations, drive MR disposal, open CARs, lead yield meetings, monitor actions in Sanmina systems, create control plans

Responsabilidades

• Attend ANDON escalations
• Leads MRs for the disposal of Material suspected of being non-conforming
• Open and follow up on internal CARs.
• Lead Yield meetings and follow up on open actions to improve it.
• Update the metrics and provide the necessary information for monitoring.
• Prepare supplier NCMR report and purge checklist.
• Monitoring of actions assigned in Sanmina systems.
• Creation and Update of control plans of the lines under the assigned product families.
• Provide the necessary support for internal and external audits
• Provide the necessary support to Production and NPI for the assigned area.
• Review scrap tickets.
• Provide disposal of Non-Conforming Material from internal and external Suppliers.
• Provides guidance in decision making using the applicable IPC standards as a basis.

Quality Engineer

Establishes and manages quality reliability processes for products, subassemblies, rework, processes and documents. Responsible for directing the continuous improvement of assigned areas, and in metrics such as RFTY, DOA PPMs, CAR or those applicable to each customer.Has the authority to carry out line shutdowns due to critical quality problems identified in the product or process.

Main Tasks

• 4. Has the sole authority to remove, reduce or extend containment actions.
• 1. Attend ANDON escalations
• 2. Leads MRs for the disposal of Material suspected of being non-conforming.
• 3. Open and follow up on internal CARs.
• 4. Lead Yield meetings and follow up on open actions to improve it.
• 5. Update the metrics and provide the necessary information for monitoring. In addition to attending the EC's, 42Q, ESQDC and metric meetings,
• 6. Prepare supplier NCMR report and purge checklist.
• 7. Monitoring of actions assigned in Sanmina systems.
• 8. Creation and Update of control plans of the lines under the assigned product families.
• 9. Provide the necessary support for internal and external audits
• 10. Provide the necessary support to Production and NPI for the assigned area.
