SEGULA Technologies seeks a mid-level Design & Release Engineer (DRE) specializing in Exterior Trim (Functional Plastics) to lead development, integration, and release of functional exterior plastic components. In this hybrid role, you will manage components from styling surfaces through tooling validation to plant production launch.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Polymer/Plastics, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3–5 years as a Design & Release Engineer or Product Engineer for automotive exterior plastics.
• Proficiency with NX, CATIA V5, or 3DEXPERIENCE and PLM systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, packaging, engineering release, and change management for exterior plastic components.
• Evaluate injection molding feasibility, draft angles, wall thickness, gating, and tooling constraints.
• Design robust attachment strategies to ensure proper fit with BIW and lighting systems.
• Perform 3D CAD packaging studies, clearance checks, and thermal expansion allowances.
• Establish GD&T datum schemes, conduct 3D tolerance analyses, and manage BOM in PLM.
• Interpret CAE results and lead physical trials to resolve fitment or surface issues.
