We are looking for an Expert IT Solution Architect to be part of our IT North America team

Position Snapshot

The role

Join the Nestlé IT North America Innovation Team as an Expert IT Solution Architect to drive and orchestrate modern end-to-end architecture strategies for large IT initiatives at Nestlé North America and provide architecture governance.

What you’ll do

• Establish guidance for product delivery teams as a thought leader, promoting composable design practices, leveraging AI to unlock value, and accelerating delivery flows.
• Manage and oversee enterprise architecture design practices, identify packaged business capabilities, define reference architecture, and collaborate with solution, data, platform, and security architects.
• Contribute to the roadmap by utilizing knowledge of reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience.
• Evaluate and select technology product standards and services, and design standard and custom configurations.
• Define and ensure adherence to guidelines, standards, and solution patterns, ensuring product decisions align with the enterprise's future-state architecture.
• Deliver modular end-to-end solution designs across multiple products or groups, leveraging cloud-native technology, microservices, and APIs to enable business agility.
• Support the architecture and integration community through coaching, capability building, and promoting self-service delivery methods.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, systems analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years as a solution architect, designing and managing complex IT solutions with cross-functional integration, APIs, and agile methodologies.
• 8+ years in at least three IT disciplines, including technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or operations.
• Experience with diverse technologies and environments, including hybrid landscapes, multi-cloud, and on-premise solutions.
• Advanced understanding of cloud-native tech, microservices, event-driven architecture, and API-led design principles.
• Expertise in applying architecture patterns covering application, data, events, and API-led design for scenarios like B2B, eRetail, B2C, DTC, social commerce, and IoT.
• Good understanding of AI/ML frameworks and their enterprise application.

Bonus Points

• Ability to propose and estimate financial impacts of architecture solutions.
• Experience with EA Bizzdesign tool and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud, AWS, or SAP Cloud.
• Effective communication skills in English across organizational levels, with knowledge of emerging tech topics like Gen AI and the future of work.
• Understanding of AI/ML ethics with practical project experience.
