LEONI Hermosillo, a hybrid role, seeks a proactive finance automation professional to turn manual finance processes into scalable automation solutions. You will collaborate with local finance, IT and the global Automation/RPA team to drive value through SAP and BI tooling.

Responsibilities include documenting opportunities, ensuring controls, coordinating testing, and reporting benefits to management. Strong English and cross-functional communication are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field.
• Professional experience in Finance, Accounting or Controlling, with knowledge of General Ledger, closing activities and reporting.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) for communication with global teams and customers.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, assess and document automation opportunities based on business value, complexity, risk and standardisation potential; translate business needs into clear requirements, process descriptions, acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
• Ensure accounting logic, controls, data quality and process ownership are reflected in automation design.
• Coordinate user testing, feedback, go-live readiness and act as the local point of contact for automation-related questions, incidents and change requests.
• Monitor changes that may affect existing automations and coordinate solutions with IT and global experts.
• Report automation progress, risks, issues and benefits to local management and the global Automation/RPA Team, whilst promoting automation awareness and continuous improvement within Finance.

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional to identify, implement and support automation solutions across Finance processes. Working closely with local Finance teams, IT and the global Automation/RPA Team, you will help turn manual, repetitive activities into efficient and sustainable automation solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify, assess and document automation opportunities based on business value, complexity, risk and standardisation potential; translate business needs into clear requirements, process descriptions, acceptance criteria and test scenarios.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
• Professional experience in Finance, Accounting or Controlling, with knowledge of General Ledger, closing activities and reporting.
• Advanced English (written and spoken) for communication with global teams and customers.
• Experience with ERP systems—preferably SAP—and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools.
• Proven experience identifying process improvement opportunities and working with standardisation, digitalisation or automation initiatives.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured process descriptions, requirements, acceptance criteria and test cases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail, data quality awareness and understanding of internal controls.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with ability to collaborate effectively across Finance teams, IT and global automation experts; proactive and improvement-oriented mindset.
