Job summary

Springer Nature is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Mexico City team. The role focuses on analysis of entity expenses by cost centre, preparation of budgets and forecasts, and monthly information submissions to the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (graduate or in final stages).
• At least 1 year of experience as a Financial Analyst.
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Formulas).
• Intermediate English (B1) for UK meetings and emails.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly expense reports by area.
• Perform risk and operational analyses of monthly expenses vs. budget/forecast.
• Review variances with budget owners and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Submit monthly expense information to the UK Finance team.
• Support financial reporting and analysis activities.
