Metalsa is seeking an entrepreneurial and business-driven Managing Director, Engineering Services & Machine Building (New Business) to lead a new services venture designed to unlock Metalsa's engineering and manufacturing expertise for external customers.

This executive will identify attractive markets, define scalable service offerings, and build commercial capabilities, creating a profitable business model with full P&L responsibility reporting to the VP of Engineering.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 20+ years of progressive leadership in industrial/engineering services or related environments.
• Proven track record building, scaling, or transforming businesses with revenue and profitability ownership.
• Strong experience leading P&L management, investment decisions, and growth initiatives.
• Experience launching new market offerings and winning customers in competitive environments.
• Experience defining business models, go-to-market strategies, and operational delivery structures.
• Executive-level stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Advanced English proficiency in a global context.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute the growth strategy for Metalsa's new services business.
• Identify, validate, and prioritize new market opportunities and service offerings.
• Build and manage a diversified portfolio of engineering, automation, and industrial service solutions.
• Drive commercial growth through customer acquisition, partnerships, and market expansion.
• Establish operating model including sourcing, delivery, org structure, and financial management.
• Own the full P&L, investment strategy, profitability, and long-term performance.
• Evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities including partnerships and acquisitions.
• Create data-driven decision processes for opportunities and investments.
• Build a high-performing multidisciplinary organization aligned with growth stages.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, and Strategy teams.
• Present business progress and strategic recommendations to executives.
• Establish relationships across industry networks, customers, suppliers, and partners.
