Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the VP, Latin America Manufacturing. The role covers plants in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina, demanding discretion, urgency, and professionalism.

You will manage a demanding calendar, coordinate travel, prepare meetings and materials, and coordinate leadership communications across regions. English fluency is required; Portuguese is a plus. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Formación

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with significant support to a leader at a publicly traded, global company.
  • Impeccable communicator and representative for Stanley Black & Decker, both verbally and in writing; professional demeanor and executive presence.
  • Expert proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite; experience with travel systems and expense reimbursement procedures.
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong independent decision-making capability.
  • Highly resourceful team-player, able to work independently and effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, time-management, and project management skills; high attention to detail and tenacity.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a complex, matrixed organization.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage an extremely active, complex calendar and prioritize critical business needs while protecting time for strategic focus.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements including flights, hotels, ground transportation, itineraries, and expenses.
  • Ensure VP is prepared for meetings, travel, decisions, and commitments through proactive planning and follow-up.
  • Partner with VP’s reports and stakeholders to track action items and deliverables to completion.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, staff meetings, operating reviews, and other cadences with logistics prepared in advance.
  • Build strong working relationships across functions and geographies to facilitate communication and execution.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion, maturity, and professionalism.
  • Draft/edit/format executive correspondence, presentations, reports, and spreadsheets.
  • Support PowerPoint development, Excel data organization, and chart creation for reviews.
  • Complete and manage Concur expense reports accurately and timely.
  • Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and workflows.
  • Partner with Executive Assistants to resolve scheduling conflicts across senior leaders.
  • Manage logistics for visits from high-level executives and government officials.
  • Prioritize multiple demands and deliver flawless execution under tight deadlines.

The Job

We are seeking a highly capable, strategic, and polished Executive Assistant to support the VP, Latin America Manufacturing. This leader is responsible for manufacturing operations across plants in Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina and requires a trusted partner who can operate with urgency, discretion, sound judgment, and a high level of professionalism.

  • Manage an extremely active, complex, and constantly shifting calendar, prioritizing critical business needs while protecting time for strategic focus.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, ground transportation, itineraries, agendas, supporting materials, and travel expenses.
  • Ensure the VP is fully prepared for upcoming meetings, travel, decisions, and commitments through proactive planning and timely follow‑up.
  • Partner closely with the VP’s direct reports and key stakeholders to track action items, meeting follow‑ups, and deliverables to completion.
  • Support the rhythm of the business by coordinating leadership meetings, staff meetings, operating reviews, and other core business cadences, ensuring logistics and materials are prepared in advance.
  • Build strong working relationships across functions and geographies to facilitate efficient communication, alignment, and execution.
  • Handle highly confidential information and sensitive matters with the utmost discretion, maturity, and professionalism.
  • Draft, edit, and format high‑quality correspondence, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other executive materials.
  • Support PowerPoint development, Excel‑based data organization, and chart creation for business reviews and leadership presentations.
  • Complete and manage Concur expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve administrative processes, streamline workflows, and increase executive effectiveness.
  • Partner with Executive Assistants across the organization to resolve scheduling conflicts and coordinate efficiently across senior leaders.
