Job Description: ETL Test Lead

Location: Hybrid in Guadalajara.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.
• Conversational English skills.
• 4+ years of experience in functional testing within data warehousing environments, including creating test plans, test cases, and data strategies.
• 4+ years of experience with project and test management tools such as Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, PICT, etc.
• 3+ years of experience in ETL testing, including data validation across source and target systems.
• 3+ years of experience with database testing and data warehouse testing, utilizing SQL queries for data comparison and validation.
• 3+ years of experience working within agile project delivery methodologies, such as Scrum.
• Experience leading test automation strategies within projects.
• Experience in the financial services industry, including insurance, banking, investing, or credit card processing.

The Role:

As an ETL Test Lead, you will oversee the test strategy, planning, and activities for multiple applications or releases within the data warehouse environment throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include conducting Functional, Non-Functional, Regression, and Automation Testing at the System and System Integration Test levels. You will coordinate testing efforts with team members across multiple countries and ensure alignment among project stakeholders such as Scrum Masters, project managers, and test team leaders.
