An ETL Reporting Engineer focuses on both ETL processes and report development. They design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses, while also building reports and dashboards to support data analysis and decision-making. This role combines data engineering expertise with reporting skills.

Responsibilities:

ETL Pipeline Design and Development: Designing and implementing ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into data warehouses or other target systems.

Data Modeling and Optimization: Building and optimizing data models and data marts to support reporting and analytical needs.

Report Development and Automation: Creating and maintaining automated reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, SQL, and Python.

Data Quality and Governance: Ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance across all reporting layers.

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Working with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable datasets and dashboards.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitoring data workflows and performance, and troubleshooting any issues.

Documentation: Documenting data processes, definitions, and architecture

Tooling wise : Python, SQL, with Tableau Dashboard development experience

Excel

MongoDB / Document store database experience a plus.
