Autozone, Inc. busca un Especialista Sr Proyectos para liderar la gobernanza y el seguimiento de acciones en la apertura de tiendas en Monterrey.

Coordinará documentación, estatus y cierre de actividades críticas para una apertura eficiente, estableciendo procesos y KPIs con las áreas involucradas. Se requiere formación en procesos/ingeniería, 3–5 años de experiencia en desarrollo de tiendas o gestión de proyectos, y certificaciones PMI/Six Sigma/Lean.

Formación

• Título universitario en áreas afines (Business Process / Ingeniería).
• Experiencia 3–5 años en desarrollo/expansión de tiendas o gestión de proyectos.
• Certificaciones PMI o equivalente, Six Sigma, Lean.

Responsabilidades

• Establecer y gestionar gobernanza, priorización y procesos para documentación y seguimiento de acciones.
• Consolidar incidencias de tiendas en formato estandarizado y definir prioridades.
• Alinear dueños de área con actualizaciones semanales y apoyar reuniones de apertura.
• Definir y reportar KPIs, impulsar mejoras de procesos.

This position will play a critical role in reducing open items at store opening by addressing the current high volume of unresolved actions across already opened stores, driving disciplined follow-up on existing and future outstanding items, and establishing the governance, structure, and standardized processes required to prevent the accumulation of new open items and ensure effective post-opening execution.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the governance, prioritization, logistics, and processes required for initial documentation, status reporting, and action item follow-up during Pre and Post-Opening. Ensure disciplined execution and timely closure of critical activities to enable a smooth and efficient opening process
• Consolidate and organize existing outstanding store issues into a standardized, cross-functional format (Master pending activities).Define categories and priorities to improve tracking and follow-up of pending items. Establish control points, process phases, and minimum requirements to support phase-gate decisions and delay escalation.
• Align area owners on timely weekly updates to pending activities. Ensure accurate information is available to support opening meetings and Pre-Opening follow-up
• Define and align KPIs with cross-functional stakeholders. Report KPI progress to leadership and recommend process adjustments to improve results

Qualifications

• Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
• Area of Study: Business Process, Architect, Industrial Engineer, Civil Engineer
• Years of Experience: Three to five years.
• Type of Experience: Store development / Store Expansion / Store Opening Project Management
• Special Certifications or Technical Skills: PMI or equivalent, Six Sigma, TPA, Lean
• Other/Preferred: Retail experience or similar
