Formación

  • At least 2 years of experience as a buyer planner.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

  • Verify daily back orders and customer requirements.
  • Analyze material requirements and follow up with suppliers.
  • Create reports for inventory control and demand.

Material Specialist

Principal Responsibilities

Analysis of daily BO & RF

  • Verify daily back orders and customer requirements in the system.
  • Analyze material requirements from suppliers.
  • Request and follow up on materials with assigned suppliers (Import NPX).

Forecast Analysis (Safety Stock)

  • Analyze BO and add forecast data.
  • Review inventory nearing depletion.
  • Request and follow up on materials with suppliers (Import NPX).

Review of Daily and In-Transit Materials

  • Verify daily reports of warehouse arrivals.
  • Check system and physical inventory of in-transit materials.
  • Create demands and request transfers to complete orders.
  • Communicate continuously with warehouse and material control teams.

Analysis of Obsolete/Import Components for Master File

  • Create a master file with assemblies and components based on sales records.
  • Verify consumption of internal components.
  • Identify running and obsolete components.
  • Classify materials as local or imported.
  • Identify components for obsolete assemblies with 3 months of consumption.
  • The import planner is responsible for opening POs and following up on urgent materials.

SVC Reports

  • BO & RF Reports by supplier.
  • Master components file.
  • Individual and team KPI reports by month.
  • Inventory control reports.
  • Demand reports.

Skills and Abilities

At least 2 years of experience as a buyer planner.

Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).

Responsible and proactive in work.
