Tu rol como Especialista en Logística será coordinar las operaciones diarias de envío desde nuestros socios fabricantes ubicados en México hasta nuestros clientes. En este rol, utilizarás tu excelente atención al detalle para programar y generar envíos diarios que cumplan con las expectativas de tiempo de entrega de nuestros clientes. Durante el día, monitorearás el estado de cada uno de nuestros pedidos de mayor prioridad para asegurar que estén en camino, y usarás tu agilidad y excelentes habilidades de comunicación para coordinar rápidamente nuevos planes de entrega con nuestros transportistas y con nuestro equipo de ventas cuando los plazos de los fabricantes cambien debido a complicaciones de producción.

Reportarás directamente al Líder Regional de Logística.

Lo que harás

• Cotizaciones: Cotizar los costos de flete con diferentes transportistas según el volumen y las rutas de nuestros productos.
• Empaque: Asegurar el empaque adecuado de los productos y el etiquetado conforme a los requisitos del cliente.
• Documentación: Reunir todos los documentos necesarios para el proceso de despacho aduanal de exportación.
• Seguimiento: Programar recolecciones, proporcionar seguimiento y actualizaciones del estado del envío, y asegurar entregas puntuales mientras se mantiene una comunicación clara durante todo el proceso.
• Reportes: Mantener reportes actualizados según los envíos realizados, incluyendo el ingreso oportuno y preciso de la información relevante de cada envío.
• Mejora continua y capacitación: Identificar áreas de mejora dentro de las operaciones logísticas en Norteamérica, proponer soluciones a la gerencia y, cuando sea aplicable, liderar la implementación de dichas mejoras. Tómate el tiempo para entender las operaciones actuales de Fictiv y compartir tu conocimiento con otros miembros del equipo.

Perfil y características deseadas

• Título universitario en Negocios Internacionales, Comercio Exterior, Aduanas o campos relacionados (preferente).
• Más de 2 años de experiencia en operaciones logísticas.
• Conocimiento de prácticas aduaneras e importación en EE. UU.
• Conocimiento de prácticas de exportación desde México.
• Capacidad para apoyar en operaciones, empaque y etiquetado cuando sea necesario.
• Excelente entendimiento de los procesos logísticos y del servicio al cliente.
• Capacidad de trabajar de forma independiente en un entorno dinámico con poca supervisión.
• Atención meticulosa al detalle.
• Habilidades excelentes de comunicación empresarial verbal y escrita en español e inglés.
• Disponibilidad para trabajar de forma presencial en oficina de lunes a viernes, de 8:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m.

We already enjoy manufacturing and delivering highly complex, high-quality parts for our Fortune 500 customers who are building the future with products like autonomous electric vehicles, surgical systems, and industrial robots. As we scale our business, we are looking to expand our growth within México.

Your role as the Logistics Specialist will be to coordinate the daily shipping operations for our Manufacturing Partners located in México to our customers. At Fictiv, we believe in creating the world’s premier platform for hardware manufacturing, and your dedication to operational excellence will help us make that happen.

In this role, you’ll use your excellent attention to detail to schedule and create daily shipments to meet our customer’s delivery timeline expectations. Throughout the day, you’ll keep a pulse on the status of each of our highest priority orders to ensure shipments are on track and you’ll use your agility and excellent communication skills to quickly coordinate new delivery plans with our carriers and with our sales team when our manufacturer’s timelines change due to manufacturing complications.

You will report to the Regional Logistics Lead.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Pricing: Quote freight costs with different carriers according to the volume and routes of our products.
• Packaging: Ensure the proper packaging of the products and labeling according to customer requirements.
• Documentation: Gather all necessary documents for the customs clearance process for export shipments.
• Tracking: Schedule pickups, provide tracking and status updates for the shipment, and ensure timely delivery of the products to the customer while maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
• Reporting: Maintain reports that are updated according to the shipments made. This includes entering the relevant information for each shipment on time and ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Continuous Improvement and Training:
  Identifying areas of improvement within North American logistics operations, suggest solutions to management, and, when applicable, own the successful completion of those continuous improvement exercises.

Desired Background & Traits

• Bachelor’s Degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Customs, or related fields preferred.
• Over 2 years experience in logistics operations.
• Understanding of US import and customs practices.
• Understanding of export practices from Mexico.
• Able to work in operations, packaging, and labeling products when necessary.
• Excellent understanding of logistics processes and customer service.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
• You are meticulous and detail-oriented.
• You have excellent verbal and written business communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Able to work on-site in the office Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
