Job summary

United Parcel Service Sweden Aktiebolag is seeking a skilled professional to lead global trade compliance activities in a dynamic environment. You will identify risks, advise on import/export compliance, and monitor evolving laws to ensure regulatory alignment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and, where appropriate, act as a liaison with government agencies and clients to implement compliant processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for global trade compliance activities.
• Aligns global technical expertise to identify risks, reduce costs, remove trade barriers, prevent, and mitigate risks related to customs laws.
• Acts as a global trade subject matter expert.
• Provides advice to assist clients (e.g., import and export compliance analysis, classification, valuation, preferential trade programs, duty mitigation programs, government agency requirements, and import and export licensing).
• Monitors global and regional laws and legislation, and regulations to develop and implement compliance programs.
• Acts as a liaison between clients and local government agencies.
• Ensures that all transactions comply with laws and regulations by reviewing trade documentation and providing data analysis.
• Provides administrative or technical support to ensure effective on‑going operations.
• Applies knowledge of established processes and procedures to execute with excellence.
• May act as a team lead, coordinating the work of others, but not a supervisor.
