PPG in Puebla, Mexico, seeks an EHS Generalist to advance environmental, health, and safety excellence across one or more sites. You will support regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement, and report to the EHS Chief, fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety roles.
• Working knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience maintaining regulatory and compliance documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor compliance with applicable EHS regulations, permits, and company requirements.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Investigate incidents, determine causes, and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain EHS records, reports, permits, and documentation to ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Partner with site leadership and teams to promote safe work practices and environmental stewardship.
• Deliver EHS training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Support internal audits and regulatory inspections and help address audit findings.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and recommend actions to improve safety and environmental results.
• Assist with construction-related permits, documentation, and audit activities.

As an EHS Generalist, you will help improve environmental, health, and safety excellence across one or more sites. You will support compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements while promoting a culture focused on safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement. You will report to EHS Chief.
