Your Role at Baxter

As a Specialist in Nutrition Therapy, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your understanding of our portfolio and belief in their value and quality drive your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. You enjoy being on location, building relationships, and establishing trust with doctors and nurses who use Baxter solutions daily.

What you'll be doing
  • Achieve sales quotas and critical metrics established by each business unit
  • Complete demand generation activities using approved promotional materials targeted at key clients according to each business strategy
  • Keep territory and marketing management informed through activity and results reports via the Boost platform, and submit weekly, monthly, and annual work plans for territory analysis
  • Provide product training (entire portfolio) to clinical and administrative clients
  • Manage the assigned territory effectively through Salesforce.com, aligning with marketing strategies: target, segmentation, visit frequency and coverage, and delivering accurate messages
  • Develop new clients and increase therapy use among existing clients
  • Build sales commitments (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly) and identify funnel opportunities with the Key Account Executive (KAE)
  • Ensure proper use of products and equipment, improving productivity, and propose improvement plans based on identified opportunities, with clear activities, responsibilities, timelines, and evaluation metrics
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in biomedical engineering, nutrition, or related fields
  • At least 2 years of sales experience within hospitals for critical care products
  • Parenteral nutrition experience as a clinical nutritionist or sales professional is preferred
  • Experience in hospital contract management, both public and private
  • Experience in healthcare product sales and promotion, including pharma or medical devices
