Position Purpose

Determine the current and future needs of raw materials and components required to meet the master production schedule, providing timely inputs to the business units.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• Planning and supervision of requirements for materials, components, and production orders.
• Make adjustments in planning requisitions of the components and production orders.
• Follow up on deliveries of purchase orders, negotiating and expediting delivery times and conditions.
• Make transfers of materials and components between plants.
• Analyze and control the materials according to their inventory classification.
• Prepare and analyze reports, databases, and graphics related to responsibilities.
• Process engineering changes, obsolete or restricted materials, and adjustments to inventory levels.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

• Management of MRP systems.
• MS Office proficiency.
• APICS certification.
• Management and inventory control.
• Knowledge of the supply chain.
• Advanced English level.
