Responsibilities

• Follows safety procedures and job site regulations.
• Coordinates with crew members to complete projects on schedule.
• Maintains awareness of surroundings for safe operation on active sites.
• Reports equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Wage

Starting at $23.19-$28.73/hour (per prevailing wage)

Job Summary

Duties include the safe and effective operation of light to heavy construction equipment, such as excavators, backhoes, blades, dozers & loaders. At least 5 years’ experience in the operation and daily maintenance of such equipment is preferred. Must possess a serious attitude toward work, be dependable and work well with others in a production-oriented team environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of construction equipment, including excavators, backhoes, dozers, blades, and loaders
• Perform precise excavation and grading work, including work around existing underground utilities
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe operation
• Follow all safety procedures and job site regulations
• Coordinate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operation in active job sites
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Driver’s License preferred; Must be valid state issued
• Must comply with all site safety requirements
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
