Job summary
Flex is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join the team in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Process Engineering Director, you will support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, maintaining, and programming SMT equipment to ensure reliability and safety.
You will lead equipment start ups, preventive maintenance, calibrations, and validations; document actions and reports; train technicians; and promote safety and continuous improvement in a dynamic production
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Experience in equipment maintenance and manufacturing operations.
- Experience with equipment installation and relocation.
- Advanced English communication.
- Experience with SMT equipment, Pick & Place, ovens and screen printer.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot SMT equipment and related systems.
- Perform repairs, replacements, adjustments and tuning of manufacturing equipment.
- Update equipment status, performance metrics and downtime reports.
- Lead start-ups, testing, commissioning and validations.
- Train technicians and ensure adherence to maintenance procedures.
- Promote safety, compliance, and best maintenance practices.
