Formación

• 1 year relevant experience, preferably in automotive or electronic industry.
• High school technical degree or truncated engineering.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Execute Environmental tests on design and product validations.
• Maintain quality system points applicable to the Environmental Laboratory.
• Support different Visteon projects with product assurance validations.

Conocimientos

Relevant experience in automotive or electronic industry

Machine maintenance

Equipment knowledge: Oscilloscope, multimeter

Ability to read electronic diagrams

Environmental Laboratory Technician II

Mission of the Role

The Environmental Laboratory Test Technician is responsible for executing the different kinds of Environmental tests on design and product validations for Visteon product assurance requisitions according to customer specifications, following international standards and meeting ISO 17025 requirements.

Key Objectives of this Role

• Deliver the product assurance validations results on time.
• Maintain the quality system points applicable to the Environmental Laboratory (5S’s, preventive maintenance, quality checks, calibrations, etc.).
• Assist with the Environmental Laboratory purchase processes when required (shipments, purchase request forms, emails).
• Support different Visteon projects with product assurance validations.

Key Performance Indicators

• Percent of assigned validations completed on time.
• Audit results and action plans.
• Elaboration of preventive maintenance on time.
• Number of non-conforming works.
• Execution of quality checks and verifications assigned on time.

Key Year One Deliverables

Have the technical knowledge to execute at least 3 different test technologies without technical support (Vibration with thermal cycling, Power thermal cycling, and 5-point parametric test). Have the skills to elaborate the test reports for the executed tests.

Qualification, Experience and Skills

Required skills

• 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in automotive, technical electrical testing or electronic industry
• Highly desirable experience in machine maintenance
• High school technical degree or truncated engineering in electronic, electrical mechanics, electrical, or mechatronics
• Equipment knowledge: Oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, signal generators
• Ability to read and understand electronic diagrams: component symbols, serial and parallel connections
• Knowledge of thermal chambers and vibration shakers
• Microsoft Office: basic level for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• English level: Basic
