Jabil is seeking an EHS Project Engineer to plan, implement, and oversee Environmental, Health and Safety activities across an assigned project in Mexico. The role ensures compliance with legal, corporate, and customer requirements through risk assessments, MOC coordination, PTW administration, and field support to teams and contractors.

Responsabilidades

• Implement Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) programs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, implement and maintain EHS procedures, work instructions and project-specific safety documentation.
• Interpret and implement applicable corporate EHS standards, customer requirements and legal regulations.
• Identify applicable legal requirements and ensure their integration into project activities.
• Develop and maintain project-specific risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Machinery Risk Assessments (MRA) and other EHS documentation.
• Establish project EHS controls, inspection programs and safe work practices before project execution.
• Coordinate and manage the Management of Change (MOC) process.
• Administer the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
• Conduct routine field inspections and safety observations.
• Supervise high-risk activities.
• Coordinate contractor safety activities.
• Verify implementation of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Conduct incident investigations.
• Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks.
• Participate in project planning meetings.
• Support emergency preparedness.
• Prepare EHS reports and project safety metrics.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and stop unsafe work whenever an imminent hazard exists.

The EHS Project Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities throughout the execution of an assigned project. This position ensures compliance with applicable legal, corporate and customer requirements by developing risk assessments, coordinating Management of Change (MOC) processes, administering Permit to Work (PTW) systems, supervising high-risk activities and providing continuous field support to contractors and project teams. The position serves as the primary EHS resource throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring hazards are identified, risks are controlled and work is executed safely.
