Job Description
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Coordinate EHS activities and develop site-specific programs targeting safety culture change through implementation of standard methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal and external EHS requirements, keeping current with impending legislation, and advising team members of potential impacts.
- Support a common approach to the collection and reporting of EHS metrics; prepare reports for management on trends and improvement actions.
- Elaborate standards and procedures related to incidents and pollution prevention and control.
- Hold EHS reviews with site leaders to discuss problems, risk areas, and concerns affecting overall EHS conditions.
- Respond to and coordinate emergency plans and programs through drills, maps, and other means.
- Support and report to the EHS Superintendent.
- Manage Radiologic Safety responsibilities.
- Define, conduct, coordinate, or oversee EHS training programs.
- Represent the company during EHS audits by government agencies.
- Review and maintain compliance in the generation, storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous, and special waste.
- Provide safety and environmental expertise for new or modified processes to ensure environmental impacts are considered and risks are mitigated.
- Compile, analyze, and maintain records, statistics, and documents related to HSE.
- Coordinate and scrutinize accident/incident reporting, including photos, videos, and comprehensive narratives.
- Ensure improvements in adverse working habits, employee performance, and follow-up actions related to EHS issues.
- Coordinate internal and external EHS audits.
- Stay aligned with all safety policies, report risks immediately, and participate actively in safety improvement actions.
- Manage resources assigned by the company to the department.
- Assist in maintaining the Quality System and perform any other work-related tasks as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Validated experience in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental subjects, or equivalent.
- A consistent record emphasizing environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Understanding of International, National, State, Local & Emerson EHS requirements.
