Job summary

TE Connectivity in Hermosillo, Mexico, seeks an early-career manufacturing support engineer to assist senior engineers in optimizing quality and output by implementing techniques, processes and automation for current machinery.

You will design and implement automation control systems, update manufacturing process instructions, develop training materials, analyze performance data, and source or adapt equipment to meet production needs. Onsite role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years in manufacturing environment supporting production.
• Fluent English skills.
• Knowledge in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assists more senior engineers in implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tools and machinery to optimize quality and output levels.
• Design and implement automation control systems.
• Develop and update manufacturing process instructions for all control systems.
• Develop and update training materials on control/schematics for manufacturing processes and auto machinery.
• Analyze performance and process control data.
• Identify, source, acquire, design or adapt machines, tools and equipment to meet production requirements.
• Create new technologies in process designs to maximize performance and efficiency.
• Create innovative ideas to solve manufacturing problems and reduce costs.
