We are hiring an Enterprise Project Manager.

Canonical's mission is to streamline and accelerate the adoption of open source across the global enterprise technology market. Our Enterprise Project Managers are responsible for ensuring project success by owning, driving, communicating, and engaging all stakeholders with integrity and accountability.

This role involves managing complex projects with changing software technologies, ensuring customer and partner satisfaction through exceptional stakeholder engagement.

Location: This is a globally remote role.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Delivering programs and projects within schedule, scope, cost, and resource expectations.
  2. Identifying and mitigating technical and project risks and issues.
  3. Maintaining strong customer focus and collaborating with stakeholders for successful outcomes.
  4. Conducting regular status meetings and business reviews with customers.
  5. Managing delivery schedules for critical third-party deliverables.
  6. Advocating appropriate technologies from Canonical's portfolio.
  7. Driving project success while managing risks.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Enterprise IT Programs, Process Improvement, and Software Engineering Project Management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience leading remote, cross-cultural, and global project teams and customers.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Deep understanding of Linux, Open Source, and Cloud Technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP).
  • Agile Project Management certification (e.g., Scrum Master).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
