Job summary

Seco Tools seeks an Application Engineer in the Querétaro area to support field sales with deep product knowledge, training, and process optimization for medical, aerospace, automotive, and general engineering segments.

You will collaborate with North American and global teams, lead projects, use CRM tools, and help define product direction while mentoring others and ensuring exceptional customer outcomes. Bilingual Spanish/English required.

Qualifications

• A degree in marketing, sales, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in the metal machining industry, with 5+ years in sales or applications.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.

Responsibilities

• Field Sales Support: act as a technical expert promoting Seco Tools applications across Medical, Aerospace, Automotive, and General Engineering.
• Deliver training sessions, cost-saving strategies, and innovative solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Lead projects with cross-functional teams and use CRM tools to track customer activities.

Seco Tools is seeking an Application Engineer in the Querétaro, Mexico area. The ideal candidate will collaborate directly with the North American Sales Team, local and global, Product Marketing Organizations of Seco Tools products and services. Support field sales and customers with training, technical knowledge, component processing, process documentation, troubleshooting, and productivity gains as required to secure sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to shape product development by providing market insights and customer feedback.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in marketing, sales, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.


• 10+ years of experience in the metal machining industry, with 5+ years in sales or applications.


• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.


• Strong project management skills and a collaborative mindset.


• A passion for mentoring others and building relationships.


• Excellent communication skills that inspire and influence.


• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken forms.


• Willingness to travel 30-50%.
