Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to ensure independent and preventive QA throughout the product development lifecycle for System and Hardware projects in Mexico. The EPQ acts as the QA partner for project leadership, providing transparency on maturity, risks, and readiness for gates and releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive, Systems Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in automotive product development, System Engineering, Hardware Engineering or Engineering Quality.
• Experience with requirements engineering, system architecture, interfaces and bidirectional traceability.
• Knowledge of System and Hardware integration, verification and validation.
• Practical understanding of the automotive development lifecycle and V-model.
• Experience assessing product maturity and preparing projects for Quality Gates, assessments and releases.
• Experience with risk management, preventive quality assurance and Engineering Change Management.
• Ability to review technical evidence and communicate or escal...
• Experience working with multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Advanced English for technical discussions, meetings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Product Quality activities for System and Hardware projects.
• Define and monitor the Quality Assurance Plan and independently assess product and process maturity.
• Ensure the quality, consistency and traceability of requirements, architecture, hardware design, verification and validation evidence.
• Prepare projects for Quality Gates, assessments, milestones and releases.
• Identify, evaluate and escalate quality issues and actions.
• Coordinate quality reviews, risk assessments and structured problem-solving activities.
• Ensure effective management of technical changes, findings and corrective actions.
• Communicate quality status to stakeholders and coach project teams on quality and release expectations.
