Job summary

Molex Guadalajara is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing engineering team, directing projects from concept to execution. You will ensure quality, efficiency and regulatory compliance while driving strategic technology initiatives across manufacturing lines.

You will oversee NPI/PLUS programs, process development, and supplier management, with a focus on coax and industrial cable manufacturing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BA degree in Engineering with 5+ years of progressive engineering experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
• Strong manufacturing engineering background with capex/opex awareness and process improvements.
• Experience in root-cause analysis, FMEA and SPC in high-tech manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and process improvements.
• Manage end-to-end engineering projects including NPI/PLUS and new process development.
• Oversee capex/opex forecasting and drive reductions in cycle times.
• Characterize processes, apply statistical models, and influence improvements.
• Train and develop team members and drive Lean/Six Sigma transformation.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships for projects.
• Lead initiatives in coax and industrial cable manufacturing, testing, qualification, and ongoing improvement.
