A medical products company in Tijuana is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee staff and manage activities related to new product introductions and layout strategies. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, at least 5 years of experience in the medical industry, and certifications in Six Sigma and lean manufacturing. This role involves setting goals, problem management, and maintaining robust manufacturing processes.

Formación

Set clear goals and priorities for the Engineering staff.Develop strategies, systems and methods for achieving the strategic priorities.Manage activities related to NPI and LayoutsDirect support on technical problemsDirect the sustaining and project related activities in support of the strategic priorities.Regularly report the results of activities to Management.Effective communication of any and all configuration changes (labelling, BOM changes) to SC and Plant management.Manage activities to implement and maintain a robust manufacturing process.Manage activities to maintain equipment in operational condition.Develop the knowledge and skill base of the Engineering staff in support of the strategic priorities.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering and technical knowledge through education and work experience relating to the applicable manufacturing processes and equipmentMinimum of 5 years in Medical industry knowledge/experience.Six sigma and lean certificationExperience with plant transfers and new product introduction
