G&W Electric Co is seeking an Engineering Documentation & Change Coordinator to support manufacturing operations in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. The role combines BOM and ERP maintenance, ECN/DCN processing, and document control with hands-on shop-floor support.

Responsibilities include releasing orders, updating BOMs and drawings, maintaining engineering documents, and aiding Lean improvements. Electrical/electromechanical technical background and ERP experience are preferred.

Formación

One to two years in manufacturing; electrical-equipment manufacturing preferred.
Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards or SAP).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering documentation.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis.

Responsabilidades

Release orders to Manufacturing and support daily order-processing activities.
Maintain BOMs and engineering drawings in ERP and CAD data.
Enter and maintain drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams in ERP or document-control systems.
Support part-number updates, material changes, and ERP maintenance.
Provide electronic drawings and CAD files (DXF/IGES/DWG) to internal departments and global facilities.
Process ECNs and DCNs, including BOM updates and verification of implementation.
Coordinate engineering changes across manufacturing and communicate changes to stakeholders.
Maintain ECN documentation and related databases.
Support standardization and legacy-part replacement initiatives.
Assist mechanical and electrical engineers on the Production Engineering floor.
