G&W Electric Co. is seeking a documentation and engineering-change specialist to support manufacturing operations. You will manage engineering documentation, BOM data, and CAD files within ERP systems while coordinating ECNs and DCNs across production teams.

You will work closely with Production Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate information and timely order processing, while applying Lean methods and continuous-improvement practices on the shop floor.

Formación

• Technician level education in relevant engineering fields.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems like JD Edwards or SAP for BOMs and data entry.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering docs.
• Experience with CAD data formats is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage engineering documentation and ERP support; release orders to Manufacturing.
• Maintain BOMs and CAD drawings in ERP and document-control systems.
• Update drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering docs.
• Assist Supply Chain with part-number and material updates.
• Provide CAD files to internal departments and global facilities.
• Process ECNs and DCNs, update BOMs and verify changes.
• Coordinate changes across manufacturing and communicate to stakeholders.
• Maintain ECN records and related databases.
• Support standardization, legacy-part replacements, and documentation updates.
• Assist mechanical and electrical engineers on the shop floor.
