Formación

  • 1+ year experience in Procurement or Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge of Materials Management or Logistics.

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Engineering Change Order Buyer and Administrator, you will partner with key stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Internal Teams, Document Control, Buyers) to manage Engineering Change Orders from procurement sites and administration (e.g., develop, support, execute, sell, design, contribute). You will report to the ECO Supervisor.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Being the key contact for the cross-functional team responsible for Engineering Change Requests & ECOs, TDNs, and MCOs related to procurement inputs (NPI & sustaining teams).
  • Providing guidance to the Procurement team on escalation procedures with internal stakeholders and supporting internal escalations when needed.
  • Managing and monitoring KPIs to reduce aging ECOs, TDNs, and MCOs caused by procurement issues.
  • Supporting RFQs for new products, analyzing and negotiating quotations with Category Buyers for alpha parts.
  • Participating in cross-functional and ECO review meetings as a Procurement team representative.
  • Recommending sources and volume pricing for alpha parts.
  • Assigning buyers and suppliers for new alpha parts in ERP systems like Oracle and SAP.
  • Managing approvals for ECOs, MCOs, and TDNs after procurement input.
  • Booking meeting rooms and managing meetings.
  • Publishing monthly newsletters.
  • Maintaining contact lists and organizational charts.
  • Handling administration for Procurement Business Center Queretaro and local indirect sourcing.
  • Travel up to 10% may be required.

Skills You Bring:

  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Valid Passport & US Visa.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields, with knowledge of Materials Management or Logistics.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain.
  • Experience with reading technical drawings, sourcing processes, and supply chain support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems like SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Office.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to influence and change the status quo.
