Formación

  • 4+ years of experience in engineering or a similar role.
  • Experience in developing and implementing improvement systems.

Descripción del empleo

Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide production support and manage engineering resources to develop and optimize production processes, increasing efficiency, product quality, and reducing costs and delivery times through continuous improvement.
  2. Supervise Process and/or Industrial engineers, technicians, and other functions assisting in specific engineering tasks.
  3. Ensure achievement of KPIs in operations.
  4. Develop and deploy Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  5. Maintain effective communication within departments.
  6. Coordinate and organize project development and implementation.
  7. Define strategies, resources, and phases to accomplish projects.
  8. Serve as Internal Auditor of the Quality Management System (ISO 13485).
  9. Coordinate and execute cost reduction projects by improving production process efficiency.
  10. Adhere to the codes of conduct, regulations, and policies of Medline.
  11. Perform other responsibilities as assigned within the quality system procedures.
  12. Ensure compliance with 5S programs and the Quality Management System.
  13. Conduct process and equipment validations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in engineering or a similar role.
  • Over 1 year of experience in developing and implementing improvement systems.
  • Over 1 year of experience in engineering management and supervision, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and ISO 13485.
Skills and Competencies
  • Proficiency in English (minimum 90%).
  • Advanced skills in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and AS400.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Dynamic, decision-making, and leadership skills.
