- Optimizing and maintaining automated test equipment to guarantee precise and dependable outcomes.
- Leading a skilled technical team, driving initiatives to reduce rejections and boost product quality.
- Supporting the production department strategically, enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities- Proficient in using equipment such as Audio Analyzers, RF Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc.
- Conducting validation studies of testing equipment (MSA).
- Controlling, maintaining, repairing, verifying, and calibrating testing equipment to ensure proper functioning, including screen rooms, and ensuring correct identification.
- Supervising Maintenance Technicians and implementing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime at low cost.
- Implementing and maintaining "golden samples" / "standards."
- Maintaining an optimal inventory of spare parts for maintenance and repair.
- Collaborating with support departments to resolve issues caused by ATE, process, supplier, and design, and to improve yield.
- Providing training to production associates and other departments as needed.
- Acting as the main technical representative of the plant with Sustaining Engineering and corporate ATE regarding product testing and performance.
- Performing other activities as required.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing plants.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) at 90% level.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Technical Expertise:
- Experience with programming languages such as Visual Basic, C++, and Java.
- Familiarity with personal computers and testing hardware, including GPIB and Ethernet.
- Skills in troubleshooting test equipment and performing audio and RF failure analysis.
- Knowledge of Visual Basic / C#.NET or LabVIEW is a plus.
- Knowledge and programming of embedded systems is a plus.
- Methodological Knowledge: Understanding of MSA, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving techniques.
- Circuit Analysis: Ability to analyze audio and RF circuits for failures.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of surface mount and through-hole component soldering, and tools for repairing, manufacturing, and testing equipment.
