A leading company in critical infrastructure technologies is hiring a Product Development Engineer to create customizations for Edge Thermal products. The role involves collaborating across engineering disciplines and requires proficiency in CAD, specifically CREO Parametric, along with relevant product development experience. The successful candidate will contribute to operational excellence and innovation while adhering to the company's core principles of safety, integrity, and teamwork.

Formación

  • 2-4 years of product development engineering experience.
  • Basic understanding of thermodynamics required.
  • Fluency in English (90%) is necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create customizations of standard Edge Thermal products as laid out by customer specifications

•Collaborate across the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, as well as production and offering teams
•Perform a variety of engineering design verifications using traditional engineering methods and CAD programs
•Develops solutions to complex problems where little or no precedence exists - the use of ingenuity and creativity is regularly required
•Review completed CAD and schematic drafting to verify design intent
•Understands the product, suggesting ideas and improvements back to group
•Assists with creation, reviewing, and systems-entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings and sales literature, as required on each custom order
•Creates/modifies mechanical, thermal and electrical drawings/parts in CAD systems, such as CREO Parametric
•Assists with troubleshooting of manufacturing or field issues

QUALIFICATIONS
•2-4 years of Product Development engineering experience.
•Basic understanding of thermodynamics
•Strong applied experience in mechanical and electrical design
•Data-entry systems familiarity & BOM Creation Experience - Oracle, Agile, etc.
•Applied knowledge of CAD Software, CREO Parametric preferred o Knowledge in Model Based Definition (MDB) preferred
•Troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and logically.
•Good planning, organizing, documentation and communication skills.
•Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional Global Development Teams
•Fluency in English (90%)
