Job Description

This role involves supporting power system analysis and interconnection activities for energy projects.

Responsibilities

1. Perform power flow analysis as part of generation development activities.
2. Assist in the preparation of Generation Interconnection Requests.
3. Assist in the preparation of Load Connection Requests.
4. Review utility interconnection studies, including feasibility, impact, and facility studies.
5. Contribute to the development of conceptual designs for interconnection facilities and estimate costs.
6. Provide support during project design and construction, focusing on interconnection-related issues.

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of transmission system planning and operations, including power flow, short circuit, and stability.
• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power systems.
• Knowledge of Manual de Interconexión y Conexión and Grid Code is a plus.
• Experience with power flow software such as PSS/E, PowerWorld, or similar is advantageous.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet modeling using Microsoft Excel.
• Strong skills in Python, Matlab, or similar programming languages.
