A leading company in connectivity solutions is hiring a Supervisor I, EHS in Ciudad Juárez. In this role, you will lead health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with local and international standards while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Formación

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • 3 years of personnel management experience.
  • Knowledge of Mexican legislation and OSHA standards.
  • English proficiency of at least 70%.

  • Investigate accidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement controls.

CommScope is growing its operations in Ciudad Juarez and is looking for a Supervisor I, EHS to join our Bermudez I and Bermudez II Team.

How You’ll Help us Connect the World

General Summary
Lead the implementation and compliance with the Health and Safety Management System.
Provide support and advice in Risk Assessment, Legal requirements, follow EHS Objectives, and lead program implementation on the site.
Plan health and safety training, communication, and document control.
Verify health and safety measurement and monitoring.
Maintain documentation for local, state, or federal authorities.
Complement local regulations in safety and industrial hygiene matters.
Conduct incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Investigate accidents, perform root cause analysis, implement controls, and respond to authorities.
  • Implement and coordinate safety programs per Mexican, American, and corporate regulations.
  • Manage third-party audits (corporate, government).
  • Develop audit programs and implement global standards.
  • Coordinate environmental, health, and safety studies.
  • Review machinery and equipment plans for occupational risks and ensure safe processes.
  • Implement and coordinate ergonomic programs.
  • Coordinate health and safety committees.
  • Coordinate behavior observation processes.
  • Understand, implement, and communicate global EHS standards and the CommScope EHS Management System.
  • Manage the site’s EHS Management System.
  • Define roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities for EHS implementation.
  • Work with site management to ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Ensure proper training on EHS responsibilities.
  • Evaluate compliance and report inadequacies.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • 3 years of personnel management experience.
  • Knowledge of Mexican legislation and OSHA standards.
  • English proficiency of at least 70%.
  • Project management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
