EDAG Mexico is seeking a Powertrain Development Specialist to manage documentation and coordinate engine and battery component development projects.

You will support production line issue analysis, suggest proposals for cost optimization, and monitor testing results and required actions.

Fluent English is required; German A2 is desirable. 2+ years of automotive experience preferred.

DESCRIPTION

• Manage documentation and traceability of technical changes.
• Coordinate and track engine and battery component development projects.
• Support production line issue analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Develop proposals and provide supporting data for cost optimization and savings initiatives.
• Support project management activities, including release status reporting, stakeholder meetings, and progress monitoring.
• Track prototype and validation parts throughout the development process.
• Monitor testing activities and ensure timely follow-up on results, findings, and required actions.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience inside the automotive industry.
• Experience in the development of engine components.
• Knowledgeof materials and their properties.
• Knowledge of engine parts and their periferie.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical engineering and fluids. Basic knowledge of design programs (Pro-E, Catia, Creo).
• Fluent English.
German A2 (desirable).
