Magna Powertrain in Mexico seeks an experienced Quality Assurance professional to coordinate customer requirements and drive continuous quality improvements across machining and assembly processes. You will lead internal and external teams, apply Six Sigma tools, PFMEA and control plans, and ensure compliance with IATF16949 and CSR standards.

The role requires 2+ years in similar roles with leadership, strong problem-solving skills, GD&T interpretation, and intermediate-advanced English.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years in similar roles with personnel in charge (internal) and external staff over 3 years in the function.
• Problem-solving tools: 8D, 5 Why’s, Ishikawa, Six Sigma core tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA).
• IATF 16949 standard and customer-specific requirements (CSR).
• GD&T interpretation and lab dimensional results.
• Automotive manufacturing processes (machining and assembly).
• Quality audits and processes (LPA, VDA, QSB).
• Intermediate–advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate customer requirements and drive quality improvements using key quality systems.
• Lead and mentor internal and external personnel in quality initiatives.
• Implement PFMEA and control plans; monitor SPC/MSA results.
• Perform audits and support CSR and IATF16949 compliance.
• Interpret GD&T data and coordinate lab dimensional analyses.
