Job summary

NOV is seeking an experienced IT End-User Support Technician to optimize PC technology and end-user endpoints. You will develop workflows, troubleshoot endpoints, and improve service delivery while maintaining data security and strong customer service.

Responsibilities include deploying OS and software, managing Intune/SCCM configurations, and coordinating with multiple vendors to adopt new hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in a related IT role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required.
• Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with metrics collection and analysis.
• Experience with process automation.
• Basic knowledge of software and OS deployment.
• PowerShell scripting preferred but not required.
• Power BI knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Understand packaging and sequencing of applications using Intune, SCCM, PowerShell, or Flexera Admin Studio.
• Coordinate with vendors (Dell, HP, Microsoft, Panasonic, Lenovo, Apple) to assess hardware suitability.
• Deploy OS, patches, software and firmware to many endpoints.
• Manage the servicing lifecycle of Windows OS.
• Manage configurations and endpoint compliance (encryption, patches).
• Maintain data quality in Intune and SCCM databases; purge stale records.
• Develop, document and design new production procedures and quality standards.
• Assist with management of mobile devices and cell phones.
• Set and enforce endpoint device policies for business needs and security.
• Research and develop alternative endpoint strategies.

• Deploy lots of things to lots of endpoints. This includes Operating Systems, Patches, Software, Firmware, etc.
• Manage the servicing lifecycle of Windows OS.
• Manage configurations and compliance on endpoint devices. (Encryption, patches)
• Maintain data quality and accuracy of configuration items within the Intune and SCCM databases, purge stale records, etc.
• Develop, document and design new production procedures and quality standards.
• Assist with the management of mobile devices and cell phones.
• Set and enforce policies for managing endpoint devices that are or become relevant to business needs, security, etc.
• Take initiative to research and develop alternative endpoint strategies.
