A leading company in building management systems is seeking a technician for hybrid remote work. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various systems related to building automation, performing troubleshooting, and having knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems. Formación

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot DDC control systems using PC tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Building Automation Control systems.
  • Ability to perform low voltage electrical testing and repairs.

Responsabilidades

  • Responsible for remote and on-site field service activities for system diagnosis and repair.
  • Installation and commissioning of commercial building management systems.

Descripción del empleo

This is a hybrid position, so it doesn't matter which state you live in. You just need to be available for occasional travel within the U.S. If that sounds good to you, this opportunity is yours!

Mission

This person works independently and is responsible for remote and on-site field service activities associated with the diagnosis, repair, installation, and commissioning of commercial building management and related systems.

Minimum Requirements

It will be a good match if you have:

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot DDC control systems and components using PC and web-based tools and applications
  • Ability to perform low voltage electrical testing, troubleshooting, and repair, using electrical meters and basic hand tools
  • Ability to perform calibration of BMS Input/Output components
  • Ability to read and interpret Mechanical, Electrical, and Control System design documentation and Sequence of Operations
  • In-depth knowledge of Building Automation Control and related systems [Architecture, User Interface, Programming, Troubleshooting]. Specific knowledge of one or more of the following is desirable: Novar LogicOne, Trend/IQ, Tridium-Niagara based solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the control and monitoring practices for HVAC and electrical systems used in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and IT systems commonly found in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities
  • Working knowledge of energy conservation measures and control strategies is desirable
  • Spanish is a plus!
