Formación

  • 5+ years of ASIC design or verification experience required.
  • Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals and SOC architecture.

Descripción

The validation team is part of the central SoC digital hardware organization, responsible for the overall quality of the SoC silicon. The team works closely with architects, designers, verification engineers, software engineers, and customers. Currently, we are seeking candidates specifically for SOC Infrastructure, NoC, and Performance validation in pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon system validation.

The candidate is expected to have an excellent understanding of digital design fundamentals, on-chip interconnects, and experience in validating and analyzing SOC bus architecture and performance.

Required Skills:

  • SOC Bandwidth, QoS, Latency, and Throughput analysis
  • Interconnect architectures - NoCs, AXI, AHB, etc. Knowledge of upstream and downstream operations, with the ability to write programs to stress transactions for appropriate coverage
  • Expertise in FIFO designs and related performance/functionality aspects
  • Develop thorough performance validation plans, considering Performance-Power trade-offs
  • Knowledge of low power modes, dynamic clock and voltage scaling operations
  • Understanding of interrupt architecture, debug architecture (JTAG, state dump scripts), and performance monitor architecture
  • Solid understanding of CPU, DDR, multimedia, GPU, peripherals, and memory hierarchy concepts, including caches, coherency, consistency, memory types, synchronization, semaphores, concurrency, MTE, MPAM
  • Experience in embedded systems and proficiency in C, C++, Python, and assembly languages
  • Design and implementation of drivers and test content, debugging low-level software and hardware issues
  • Familiarity with debug tools such as JTAG and kernel debuggers
  • Structured programming concepts and understanding of performance metrics and testing methodologies
  • Design and implement performance validation tests, analyze results, and generate detailed reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance issues
  • Develop and maintain performance testing tools and frameworks

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of ASIC design, verification, or related experience.

OR

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience.

OR

PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience.
