Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an Embedded Controls Engineer to optimize soft PLC code (CODESYS) on Linux-based IPCs tied to electrical panels. You will navigate constrained IDE environments, untangle complex logic, and enhance deployment reliability.

The role blends hardware and software for real-time control systems, requiring embedded mindset, strong debugging, and hands-on experience with industrial hardware and IEC-3 languages.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in Embedded Software Engineering with C/C++.
• Experience with soft PLCs or IEC-3 programming languages.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, debug, and optimize soft PLC code (CODESYS/Structured Text) on local IPCs.
• Refactor code to improve reliability and testing.
• Manage remote deployments and rollbacks to industrial hardware in the field.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems, sensors, and barcode integrations on machinery.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to bridge control software and hardware.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
