Instituto Thomas Jefferson Campus Queretaro, S.C. is seeking an Elementary Head Teacher to lead History, Geography, Science and Language Arts. You will collaborate with grade-level teachers to design weekly plans and monitor student progress.

You will maintain proactive communication with parents and guardians, and create digital materials to present content while safeguarding student wellbeing and safety in the classroom.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in pedagogy, education, or language teaching.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and GSuite for Education.
• Experience with safeguarding and child protection; 3 years teaching experience.

Responsabilidades

• Teach and assess History, Geography, Science and Language Arts.
• Create weekly lesson plans with the grade-level team.

Job Description Elementary Head Teacher

Key Responsibilities

Teach and assess the subjects of History, Geography, Science and Language Arts. Create weekly lesson plans in collaboration with the other teachers of the grade for all the subjects that are taught. Give close and timely social and academic follow-up to each of the students of the group. Establish and maintain clear and constant communication with the parents or guardians of every student of the class. Perform active guard duties when assigned. Create original digital materials to present the content of the subjects that are taught to the students. Ensure and promote the physical and emotional well-being of every student in the classroom.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Studies: Bachelor’s Degree in Pedagogy, Education, Language Teaching or similar. Technological Skills: Basic knowledge of Office tools. Basic knowledge of the GSuite for Education. Other knowledge: Safeguarding and child protection. Languages: B2 or C1 English Required Experience: 3 years as a full-time classroom teacher of kids.
