Caterpillar is seeking a qualified engineer to perform software and hardware testing for energy applications, including diesel engines and alternative power sources. You will work on validation using HIL/SIL systems, develop test procedures, and ensure robust electrical measurements.

The role is based in Monterrey (Santa María) and is on-site, with standard weekday hours. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field and advanced English.

Competenze

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or related engineering field.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Mansioni

• Software Validation/Verification for Electronic Systems using a HIL (Hardware in the Loop) simulator bench or a SIL (Software in the Loop) system.
• Verify requirements and schematics, debug/report anomalies to the development team and help validate fixes.
• Develop test procedures, library management, automation, electrical measurements, and scripting.
