Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Mexico is seeking a Junior Software Test Engineer to support development of test tooling and validation environments for system-level testing in the automotive sector. You will build test tools with Python and C/C++, run system tests, and help simulate CAN/Ethernet environments to validate hardware and software integration.

The role emphasizes debugging, reportable results, and strong teamwork, with exposure to LabVIEW and TestStand as needed.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Python for tool or application development.
Exposure to test automation and tooling development.
Familiarity with LabVIEW and TestStand.
Understanding of Git version control; exposure to RF tuners and video systems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain test tooling and validation environments for system-level testing.
Develop and maintain test tools and applications using Python and C/C++.
Perform system-level testing and debugging activities, including audio validation.
Develop and maintain Rest Bus Simulation environments and CAN- and Ethernet-based test environments.
Analyze test results, investigate issues, and ensure clear reporting and traceability.
