Job summary

Bosch Group in Celaya, Mexico, seeks an experienced supplier quality professional to manage the supplier claim process and ensure timely containment actions to keep certified parts available on the line.

You will drive the 8D problem solving with suppliers, coordinate Failure Analysis activities, and support audits, leveraging SAP for component setup and quality records.

Qualifications

• +3 years of experience in manufacturing industry (similar positions)
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Problem solving desirable
• Automotive Industry experience desirable
• SAP is desired

Responsibilities

• Supplier claim process management and containment actions to ensure availability of certified parts.
• Assure the continuous flow of non-defect components to the production line.
• Apply 8D problem solving with suppliers.
• Coordinate Failure Analysis activities.
• Knowledge of electronic components (Printed Boards, Capacitors, Resistors, IC).
• Support customer quality groups regarding 8D investigations for electronic components.
• Follow-up on defect cost recovery and concessions management.
• Support audits (internal and external) compliance.
• SAP setup of components (Quality Set-Up, Q-Info Record and Inspection plan).
• Ensure preventive quality planning and assurance for externally sourced parts.

Job Description

• Supplier claimprocess management, including timely organization of containment actions to ensure availability of certified parts.
• Assure thecontinueflow on non defect components to the production line.
• Assure Problem solving process for suppliers according to the 8D process.
• Coordinate Failure Analysis activities.
• Knowledge of Electronic components as Printed Boards, Capacitors, Resistors, IC.
• Support to customer quality groups, regarding 8D´s related to Electronic components claims (technical support).
• Follow-up of the defect cost recovery process and concessions management.
• Support with the compliance on all Audits Internal and Externals.
• SAP set up of Components (Quality Set-Up, Q-Info Record and Inspection plan).
• Ensures Preventive Quality Planning and Assurance for externally sourced parts (EZRS) including release of initial samples prior to SOP.
• Follow-up to Top worst suppliers (low performance).
• Ensure the department Target Achievement.
• Support the Goals for BPS, CIP, 5's and ESD.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Problem solving (desirable)
• Automotive Industry experience (desirable)
• SAP is desired
