Formación

  • Licenciatura en Ingeniería Mecatrónica o campo relacionado es esencial.
  • Bilingüe en español e inglés avanzado requerido.

Responsabilidades

  • Definir estándares de procesos y métodos, y confirmar costos de fallos.
  • Diseñar, controlar e implementar sistemas eléctricos y productos.
  • Organizar el intercambio de conocimientos entre flujos de valor.

Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

  • Technical voice of Robert Bosch Plant, JuP1, to the network specialists, strong technical support for the value streams and at the same time a guiding hand for process standards.
  • Central reference for process definitions at Robert Bosch Juarez Plant.
  • Close contact to international competence centers.
  • Active participation in process definition meetings at lead plants.
  • Ensure process specific standards and know-how-exchange in cross Value Stream Engineering teams.
  • Improve process stability and efficiency.
  • Coaching and knowledge deployment to the Value Stream Engineers.
  • Support new product launches with technical know-how.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Current production (approximately 50%)

  • Set standards for processes and methods and confirm failure costs.
  • Be part of problem-solving teams and risk assessment teams.
  • Organize knowledge exchange across Value Streams and Competence Networks.
  • Ensure process-related knowledge exchange across production plants.
  • Train and coach Value Stream Engineers.
  • Initiate improvement.

New production lines Installation (approximately 30%)

  • Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products.
  • Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards.
  • Manage engineering projects and deliver them.
  • Define customer needs and requirements.
  • Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes.
  • Summarize data and report on test results.
  • Examine needs on new equipment.
  • Monitor maintenance and inspection plans.

Future planning (approximately 20%)

  • Networking with Network specialists from other plants and development team.
  • Know the market for equipment and methods in the area of competence.
  • Define process roadmap.

SPECIFIC TECHNICAL TASKS

  • Evaluate the feasibility of the production of new products with international cross-functional teams.
  • Propose low-cost manufacturing solutions within the plant environment and develop cost estimations.
  • Develop and discuss concept proposals with different levels of management within the plant as well as partners from other business units, development departments, and other manufacturing locations.
  • Continuously strive for and recognize ratio potential and improvement options in a project.
  • Understand the sources for cost of manufacturing and actively work on technical concepts to efficiently reduce production cost.
  • Ensure understandable technical specifications and documentation containing all necessary information for stable production conditions.
  • Confirm processes and standards regularly.
  • Actively and anticipatory manage project and process risks.
  • Keep continuous close contact with all relevant departments in the production network and development even beyond the scope of ongoing projects.
  • Organize and actively participate in meetings with global experts.
  • Contribute well-based technical information from within Bosch as well as outside sources for the plant's strategic setup.
  • Define standards and keep processes standardized. Regularly confirm standards in the production lines.
  • Continuously increase process stability in the production lines.
  • Provide all necessary technical information about processes to the Value Stream Engineers.

Qualifications

EDUCATION & ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and advanced English).

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Knowledge in Electrical design.
  • Knowledge in Advanced troubleshooting.
  • Safety responsible.
  • Expert in MAE electrical circuits.
  • Experience in safety circuits.
  • Experience in Controllers/ Drivers.
  • Knowledge in CE & UL Certifications.
