Vertiv Co is seeking an Electrical Engineer to sustain CRAC products and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, process engineering and production teams. You will perform design and verification tasks, improve cost metrics, and provide direct support to manufacturing.

The role requires a BSEE with 3+ years of experience, strong CAD skills (CREO), and knowledge of NEC/NFPA and UL standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to product development and field issue

Formación

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree.
3+ years of career experience with electrically controlled products/appliances.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment independently and in a team.
Demonstrated history of working with products with understanding of the product development process.
Excellent project management and communication skills (written and verbal).
Proficient in 2D & 3D CAD software, CREO 4.0+ preferred.
Knowledge of NEC (NFPA70) and UL 508A.

Responsabilidades

Sustain CRAC products and support cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, process engineering and production teams for design reviews and cost targets.
Perform engineering calculations to verify design requirements.
Design/review 2D/3D CAD for electro-mechanical assemblies and wiring diagrams.
Develop BOMs and PLM-based product definitions to reuse existing designs.
Identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement changes.
Support manufacturing with sustaining and cost-reduction activities.
Assist in design, review and testing of new CRAC products.
Work with labs and manufacturing on prototypes and testing.
Collaborate with software team to verify CRAC system controls.
